What is F1 in Schools

F1 in Schools is the largest school-based STEM competition globally. The core of F1 in Schools is small teams of students racing miniature Formula 1 racing cars manufactured and designed by them. More than that, F1 in Schools allows teenagers to develop skills in other areas as they write three portfolios on their car, project management and collaboration, as well as present to industry panels about their engineering, design and enterprise management. F1 in Schools encompasses engineering, designing, marketing and project management that prepares students for future careers.

"We are delighted to support the F1 in Schools programme as it continues to inspire and educate young people in STEM subjects, which are critical not only to our sport, but can have a huge impact on the wider society."
